Aqua Pebble

Now that you have your Unique Blueprint (UBP) – what do you do with it? I started out on this exercise with the aim of helping people who wanted to blog find out what to blog about, but as I thought about it I realised this could help other people as well. Usually people struggling with their uniqueness want to achieve something, but are not sure on how to differentiate against the competition they face

So how do you stand out of the crowd when there are over 6.7 billion people in the world? Marketers will tell you that you need to differentiate, life coaches will tell you about finding your uniqueness, sales managers will say you need to find your unique selling proposition, but is this possible? With the margins of difference becoming narrower can we be considered unique?

You may be thinking what an odd question. Or maybe you have a similar philosophy to me. I have always said that to achieve in life you can’t be wallpaper, you need to stand out from the crowd. Standing out from the crowd gets you noticed, but if the wrong people notice you, you might as well be wall paper.

The question is ‘Is there a miracle cream for blogging’ (or in life)? Now that I am immersed in the world of blogging and regularly am looking for that special bit of advice that can help me improve my blog I have come across some really good sites and blogs, but have also come across many sites offering all sorts of courses, eBooks, books, webinars, subscriptions and more all for a price.

I published my first 3 posts on the 06 July 2009. Here are the lessons I have learnt since and believe me I am still learning more.
