As I approach my journey to demystify social media and how it can be used in business I look at this monolith in the face and ponder where do I start? I don’t have a map to follow and there is an overload of information out there. I decided to start with twitter as I personally have some questions I need clarified.

By now you should have a better understanding of what is unique about you and what you want to achieve. I am now going to address how to define your target audience/market/job. This involves understanding who or what you want to reach and what they need or want. This usually involves doing some research. Research can be done on the net, phoning up a person and talking to them or reading press or trade journals.
